Welcome to Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

FtWayneCop.jpg

Tomorrow we begin shooting episodes nine and ten of My Home 2.0 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and we’ve already had an inauspicious start. About five minutes from the airport, we were pulled over by a cop for doing 70 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. To be fair, I wasn’t paying attention to my speed, but I didn’t think I was going very fast. It’s hard to judge when there are NO other cars on the road with you.

The kicker? Another 2 minutes up the road and the speed limit changed to 70 MPH.

It was a nice little speed trap to nab people coming from the airport, because they got both of us who were driving on the road. Anyhow, if you happen to be in Ft. Wayne look for us around town — we’re the ones driving 35 MPH on the highway. :)

Mike neglects to mention that a whole other group of us following in a second van were pulled over at the same time by the same guy. I urged everyone in our vehicle to jump out and run for it, but we didn’t have a video camera with us so no way we had a chance at getting onto Cops — we sat there glumly instead.

The only cool thing was he was driving a 208 bright red Mustang GT.
